Where to Eat and Drink in WIMR and HSLC

The School of Medicine and Public Health has created guidelines for where food and beverage can be consumed in both HSLC and WIMR while working on site. (As of 10/15/2020)

Places you CAN eat and drink:
~Your office
~The breakrooms (WIMR 1195 and B1036)
~HSLC 1220 and 1222 (at certain times, check the schedule outside the doors to make sure there is not a class in those rooms at that time)
~Outdoor seating areas

Places you CANNOT eat and drink:
~WIMR and HSLC Atriums
~Classrooms or other shared spaces (except the ones noted above)
~Building entrances, hallways, or lobbies
~Any place you normally would not be able to eat (ie. research laboratories)

In addition to this, please use best practices for health and safety while using these spaces to consume food and drink.
~Santize the area before and after eating
~Maintain 6ft of distance between you and anyone else in the area
~Do not exceed the maximum occupancy for the room
~Use only the designated seating areas

Following these guidelines can help keep you and everyone around you safe. They will be updated as needed, to ensure everyone can follow the most current practices.
