Information

The Department of Medical Physics offers a broad range of educational and training programs, including those for individuals interested in graduate, post-doctoral fellow, or medical physics residency opportunities. The research areas addressed by our faculty include biomagnetism, diagnostic x-ray imaging, magnetic resonance, nuclear medicine, molecular imaging, optical imaging, radiation dosimetry, radiation protection, radiation and thermal therapy, and ultrasound. At variable times, post-doctoral fellowships related to one or more of these research areas are available, and the department welcomes applications from qualified applicants for such fellowships. The online application process allows the department to capture all relevant and necessary information in an efficient manner, and to provide that information to faculty who may have post-doctoral opportunities available.

The department of Medical Physics coordinates the Radiological Sciences Training Grant, which supports Ph.D. and postdoctoral cancer research. Review the training grant's postdoc application form to see whether you would be eligible, then select one of the options below.
