The UW Imaging Physics Residency Program participates in the MedPhys Match and utilizes the AAPM Medical Physics Residency Application Program (MP-RAP) for the applications. Positions will be available in the 2027 Match.
Candidates must have completed a CAMPEP-accredited graduate program in medical physics (MS or PhD), or possess a PHD in physics, biomedical engineering (or similar) and have completed a CAMPEP-accredited certificate program.
A selection committee identified by the steering committee will identify candidates for virtual interview. Rank decisions for the purposes of the MedPhys Match will be made by the selection committee based on the candidate’s application and virtual interviews only. The virtual nature of the interview is intended to promote access; however, it is recognized that a site-visit may be an important part of the decision-making process for a candidate. An Open House will be held to allow candidates to do their due diligence before ranking.
