Schenk Elementary Science Night

The medical physics outreach group brought their hands-on learning activities to Schenk Elementary for their Science Night aimed at engaging young learners and their families. Some students enjoyed searching our table with a geiger counter for radioactive sources while others searched our giant jello bear with an ultrasound machine for hidden grapes. Medical physics students fielded questions about radioactivity, mobile imaging devices, and our own personal research from curious families. Thank you to Robert Moskva, Alex Kaeck, and community member Scott Zimmerman for their help with this event!
